S.G.S Fashion Show
A fashion show extravaganza took place in S.G.S on Thursday 19th November to raise money for S.G.S. annual ski trip.
For the first hour of the night – Cilento showcased an impressive range of styles – from casual through to dazzling formal wear. The models strutted their stuff on the catwalk in an amazing range of designer brands excellently styled by the Cilento staff behind the scenes.
A special word of thanks to the models who truly excelled themselves on the night.
Strabane business woman picks up major award
At a glittering ceremony in the Waterfront Hall, Belfast on Thursday 24th September, The Ulster Tatler People of the Year Awards 2009, in association with House of Fraser, were announced to an expectant audience by compères for the evening, Gerry Anderson and Sarah Travers.
Featuring 12 categories relating to local life and lifestyles, from fashion to interior design, hairdressing to hospitality and from business to sport, the awards celebrate and reward local people who have proved to be inspirational in their field.
This year Strabane retailer, Lesley Mealiff of Cilento was jubilantly awarded the Fashion Boutique Proprietor of the Year award (sponsored by West Coast Cooler) by a panel of judges tasked with selecting the winner from a hotly contested shortlist.
Speaking after the event, Lesley expressed her great surprise and joy at receiving the accolade: “I never expected this! Just being short-listed in the category was amazing and then to be announced as winner in front of hundreds of people in the Waterfront Hall was unbelievable. I look forward to sharing this award with all the Cilento team and, of course, our customers”.
